The School of Business regularly reaches out to industry to link our research to practice. We encourage our researchers to collaborate with business organisations and government agencies to make use of our research and inform practice. For example, Professor Randy Chiu has led a team to conduct the annual "Pay Level Survey" for more than 25 years. This survey has become a key reference for organisations and their annual remuneration policies. In addition, the School actively promotes its research to practitioners by organising the "Power Lunch" event around twice a year. We invite senior executives from various industries to the "Power Lunch" at the Banker's Club in Central. During the lunch, our researchers present insights drawn from our latest research that is relevant to real world-practice and which can address current problems. The "Power Lunch" serves as a critical platform where research meets practice, and it is an incubator of research impact for the School.
