The recent work of Professor Mak Nai-ki focuses on (1) understanding the role of Wnt signalling in the pathogenesis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and (2) the development of drugs against EBV-associated malignancies, particularly on nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
