Anna Grasskamp博士是《Objects in Frames: Displaying Foreign Collectibles in Early Modern China and Europe》的作者,亦是《EurAsian Matters: China, Europe and the Transcultural Object, 1600-1800》的合编者,由她编辑的大量著作和学术期刊曾被翻译成英文、中文、日文和德文等多种语言。她亦是《Journal for the History of Knowledge》期刊的编委成员、《Global Epistemics》丛书系列的编审委员会成员,以及网上评论期刊《KUNSTFORM/SEHEPUNKTE》的主题编辑。她在加入香港浸会大学视觉艺术院前曾於德国海德堡大学的「全球脉络下的亚洲与欧洲」(Asia and Europe in a Global Context) 大型研究计划担任博士后研究员。

 

Grasskamp博士的博士论文《Cultivated Curiosities: A Comparative Study of Chinese Artifacts in European Kunstkammern and European Objects in Chinese Elite Collections》(莱顿大学, 2013)获Jan van Gelderprijs 2014奬项提名。她的研究项目亦曾获本地及国际机构的研究奖助资助驻留及访问研究,包括香港研究资助局、促进中国考古学、专为艺术和物质文化教学及研究而设的莱顿大学Hulsewé-Wazniewski基金会、柏林普朗克科学史研究所、慕尼黑大学Munich Centre for Global History、柏林国立博物馆艺术图书馆、沃尔芬比特尔奥斯特公爵图书馆和莱顿大学国际亚洲研究院等。

 

Grasskamp博士的研究重点为亚洲与欧洲之间视觉艺术与物质文化的交流。她过往的研究项目著眼於跨文化框架策略,目前则专注研究全球背景下的海事物质文化。

 

她现为研究资助局资助项目《Ocean Objects: Maritime Material Culture in Southern China from a Global Perspective 》(GRF 12603017)的首席研究员。
