简历
李敏教授,医学博士。为中医内科学、中药神经药理学、中医药治疗脑神经退行性疾病专家。目前担任香港浸会大学中医药学院副院长(教学)、中医与生物医学双学位课程主任和高智明伉俪柏金逊症研究中心主任。李教授1985年本科毕业于河南中医药大学,1988年硕士毕业于广州中医药大学,2001年在日本东海大学医学院获得医学博士。李教授主要从事神经系统退行性疾病包括柏金逊症和阿氏海默症的中医临床治疗、中药药理研究与新药研发工作。李教授的研究团队先后开展了中药复方治疗帕金森病、阿氏海默症的随机对照双盲的临床研究,从中药中筛选小分子天然自噬诱导剂治疗神经退行性疾病的分子作用机制及治疗脑神经退行性疾病的中药新药研发工作。
研究领域:
基础研究:
- 神经细胞自噬/溶酶体功能异常在老年神经退行性疾病(包括柏金逊症、老年痴呆症)中的发病机制研究;
- 中药复方及中药小分子化合物保护神经细胞的药效、作用机制及分子靶点研究;
- 神经退行性疾病相关的代谢组学、蛋白组学的研究。
临床研究:
中药复方对柏金逊症和阿氏海默症的临床疗效与安全性评价研究。
新药研发:
从中药复方及中药小分子化合物研发治疗或预防老年神经退行性疾病(帕金森病和阿氏海默症)的中药新药和中药保健品。
