實驗室基於浸大中醫藥學院和理學院(生物系、化學系、數學系和計算機系)的協力合作,創造一個在香港乃至中國最具創新的從中醫藥出發的現代診療和新藥研發基地。實驗室將在生物醫學和化學的基礎上,結合數據科學、資訊科學等先進技術,在浸大打造出一套世界級最完整的現代中醫藥數據資產,成為全球基於中醫藥的現代診療和新藥研發的最權威知識庫。浸大在此研究領域有著非常卓越、扎實的研究基礎。我們將在現有基礎上,聘請科研領軍人才,力爭於三年內,實現包括基於現代分子生物學的「本草綱目新編」中醫知識庫系統和中藥複方協同機制等重大科研成果,同時於大灣區創建第一流的現代中藥新藥創新產業基地,完善從科研到產業的轉化流程,為浸大創造具有國際領先水準的創新產業發展環境。
