實驗室凝聚浸大在數學、物理學、化學生物學等基礎學科的研究力量，並結合應用生理學、醫學、地理、社會科學以及傳媒等應用學科，研究包括生命、環境、社會、互聯網傳媒等複雜系統的行為和健康運行機制。此項跨學科研究平台在中國實屬首創，並具有極大的現實意義。實驗室不僅可以全面帶動浸大的基礎學科未來發展，亦可以使我們在複雜系統的研究領域於全港乃至全國佔據領先地位。我們計劃於三年內招聘多名優秀的研究人員，並於短期內，在公共健康，系統醫學等領域取得世界一流的研究成果。
