Anna Grasskamp博士是《Objects in Frames: Displaying Foreign Collectibles in Early Modern China and Europe》的作者,亦是《EurAsian Matters: China, Europe and the Transcultural Object, 1600-1800》的合编者,由她編輯的大量著作和學術期刊曾被翻譯成英文、中文、日文和德文等多種語言。她亦是《Journal for the History of Knowledge》期刊的編委成員、《Global Epistemics》叢書系列的編審委員會成員,以及網上評論期刊《KUNSTFORM/SEHEPUNKTE》的主題編輯。她在加入香港浸會大學視覺藝術院前曾於德國海德堡大學的「全球脈絡下的亞洲與歐洲」(Asia and Europe in a Global Context) 大型研究計劃擔任博士後研究員。

 

Grasskamp博士的博士論文《Cultivated Curiosities: A Comparative Study of Chinese Artifacts in European Kunstkammern and European Objects in Chinese Elite Collections》(萊頓大學, 2013)獲Jan van Gelderprijs 2014奬項提名。她的研究項目亦曾獲本地及國際機構的研究獎助資助駐留及訪問研究,包括香港研究資助局、促進中國考古學、專為藝術和物質文化教學及研究而設的萊頓大學Hulsewé-Wazniewski基金會、柏林普朗克科學史研究所、慕尼黑大學Munich Centre for Global History、柏林國立博物館藝術圖書館、沃爾芬比特爾奧斯特公爵圖書館和萊頓大學國際亞洲研究院等。

 

Grasskamp博士的研究重點為亞洲與歐洲之間視覺藝術與物質文化的交流。她過往的研究項目著眼於跨文化框架策略,目前則專注研究全球背景下的海事物質文化。

 

她現為研究資助局資助項目《Ocean Objects: Maritime Material Culture in Southern China from a Global Perspective 》(GRF 12603017)的首席研究員。
