簡歷

劉信信博士專注環境與健康跨學科教育及研究工作，從跨學科的角度深入了解人類與自然環境的聯繫、環境保育及自然教育。劉博士亦熱忱於教育與教學，並重點探討主動學習教學法，工作學習及企業實習教育，和學生的就業準備度。同時，劉博士亦致力推進各項與環境有關的教育及知識轉移工作，提升香港培育下一代環境健康的認識，讓他們了解人類活動與自然環境的聯繫，從而推動具體的社區行動，例如改變生活習慣及實踐環保。

 

推動可持續及環境教育

劉博士近年來積極舉辦及推動一系列環境教育相關工作坊及比賽，並於二零一七至二零二二年間惠及超過四千名學生、老師及公眾人士。劉博士於二零二二年出版了三本繪本《與珠頸斑鳩共舞》、《會飛的老虎—虎斑蝶》及《榕樹寶盒》，為香港首三本專注介紹本港自然生態的多樣性，搭配擴增實境(AR)及原創音樂的特大雙語繪本，並編寫了相關的教學配套，提升幼兒教師規劃環境教育活動的能力。劉博士亦為非牟利機構擔任顧問，以撰文或受訪形式和大眾分享專業知識，其中包括香港電台電視節目「山水傳奇」和「山水搜記」，及見文於香港01、 Now TV.com及兒童快報週刊。

 

科學普及化以培養學生對科學的興趣

劉博士獲裘槎基金會選為「裘槎科學周」的其中一位科學家，並獲邀參與基金會籌辦之多項科學普及化教育項目，與學生、老師及普羅大眾分享他的科學知識以及對科學的熱情。「裘槎科學周」於二零一八至一九年間共吸引了12,500 位來自六十間學校的學生參加。此外，劉博士亦於「香港科學節2018」教授科學工作坊予普羅大眾。

 

分享教育與教學的實踐

劉博士近年通過參加「學與教博覽」舉辦體驗工作坊，與本地及海外的老師和教育人士分享學與教策略和經驗，藉此提升學生學習的興趣，積極性及投入程度。
