跨学科团队

运动康复组

运动康复组由Baker教授、高杨博士、郭平先生、Bruce教授和Ash博士共同带领。高杨博士是公共卫生和流行病学方面的专家,擅长透过运动治疗来改善身体机能及复原能力,对於多种流行病学研究有莫大贡献。郭平先生是体育、运动及健康学系的技术总监,他将负责与运动有关的各类数据测量。Bruce教授将提供运动生理学指导,而Ash博士将提供研究设计和运动心理学的指导。


中药康复组

中药康复组由卞兆祥教授、钟丽丹博士、林志秀教授和冯奕斌教授共同带领。目前,这组团队正在与香港医院管理局三方协作中医诊所的中医师进行合作研究,评估新冠肺炎患者感染后的并发症变化。


康复治疗组

康复治疗组由刘滙文博士和Baker教授带领。刘滙文博士擅长康复医学,他专注研究情绪、行为等神经基础系统的康复治疗。他与Baker教授均拥有康复治疗的经验,他们与患者广泛接触,研究运动治疗对康复的影响,并对肌肉损伤、血液生物化学、创伤及肌肉使用进行追踪检测。

 

系统生物学组

系统生物学组由贾伟教授和Bruce教授带领,Baker教授和卞兆祥教授也会协助参与。

 

贾伟教授在代谢组学及系统生物学领域拥有逾十七年的科研经验。他对於各种样本(包括血清、血浆、尿液、唾液和粪便样本)中的LC-MS和GC-MS代谢组学分析研发了创新的标准,其团队更研发了计算机演算法,来提取并处理微生物群和代谢组的数据。贾伟教授和卞兆祥教授利用这些工具,完成了数十个涉及调查人类的代谢组学研究项目,包括人类肝脏与癌症的流行病学研究,还调查了急性骨髓性白血病的葡萄糖代谢、与大肠癌预断有关的代谢特徵、肠道微生物代谢物,以及肠易激综合症或糖尿病患者的胆汁酸。Bruce教授曾任英国奥林匹克医学中心主任,在采集和分析血液样本方面拥有丰富经验,且对於心血管疾病学科和糖尿病患者群有关的调查拥有广泛知识,他更是一位具有与重病患者合作经验的临床心脏病专家。

 

贾伟教授的团队发现了普洱茶有助降低胆固醇和脂质的分子机制。

 

 

肺部生理学组

肺部生理学组由Wagner教授带领。Wagner教授乃加州大学医学系的荣休教授,在医学及生物工程方面研究成就杰出。在他的研究生涯中,他一直专注研究与所有肺部疾病有关的氧气输送,对氧气运输进行了独特的分析,解释氧气输送途径中的综合因素如何决定最大氧气输送量和使用量。最近,Wagner教授参与了新冠病毒研究,建议测量感染患者肺部动脉中过期的二氧化碳,以找出肺部中血流量减少的地方,反映肺部动脉的血栓栓塞情况。

心理学组

心理学组由Baker教授、刘滙文博士和郭平先生共同带领。Baker教授发表了多篇与心理干预治疗的有关论文。他曾与多个体育团体(包括威尔士橄榄球联盟)进行合作,通过心理技术来改善行为表现。他亦曾指导关於心理表现和行为变化的硕士、博士论文。Baker教授目前也担任一个全球性的项目「Covistress」的合作研究员,与来自法国等世界各地的医学研究人员合作。相关内容详见网页:

 

 

流行病学组

流行病学组由高杨博士带领,钟丽丹博士及Ash博士协助带领。这个组别将负责实行复康治疗和采集数据。

 

数据管理组

数据管理组由郭毅可教授、杨氙博士和高杨博士共同带领。郭毅可教授是香港浸会大学副校长(研究及拓展)、伦敦帝国理工学院数据科学研究所所长的创始人,也是英国皇家工程院院士、欧洲科学院院士、英国计算机学会会士及英国皇家学会理事。他发表了超过200篇经同行评审的论文,进行了多个与新冠肺炎有关的研究项目,其项目也曾在数据应用、软件开发等方面获得奖项,受到国际认可。郭毅可教授和杨氙博士积极领导过eTRIKS项目(https://www.etriks.org/),为转化医学研究创建了全欧洲最大的数据管理平台。杨氙博士已完成多个转化医学研究项目(如用於严重哮喘分型的UBIOPRED),现在她正参与新冠病毒研究项目,如建立监测复康治疗影响的贝氏框架,以遏制疫情。高杨博士在管理和分析各种流行病学研究(包括随机对照试验)的数据方面拥有丰富经验。
