Welcome to the HKBU Research website. As the Director of the Research Office (RO), a well-established central office within HKBU, it is my honour to guide the Office in its pivotal role of bolstering the research development and advancement of the University.

The RO and our esteemed research community stand united in our shared pursuit of research excellence, as we take immense pride in our mutual unwavering dedication. We ensure meticulous management of grants, offer comprehensive support to facilitate the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), and initiate impactful advocacy for research activities and research infrastructure at HKBU. We aspire to illuminate and elevate the brilliance of our HKBU researchers and their groundbreaking studies, and foster a dynamic and thriving research culture, both within the University and across the wider region.

Capitalising on the concerted efforts of our impactful researchers across various Faculties and Schools, and every member of the University community, the RO stands ready to forge ahead to inspire innovative competence and empower scholarly distinction.
