Date: 5 August 2025 (Tue) - 8 August 2025 (Fri)

Venue: Council Chamber (SWT501), Level 5, Shaw Tower, Hong Kong Baptist University

The Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute at Hong Kong Baptist University, since its establishment in 2011, has received strong support from all sectors over the past fifteen years, resulting in a solid foundation and a growing reputation. Committed to nurturing talent and providing a high-level platform for academic exchange, the Institute pioneered the “Young Scholars International Conference” in 2015, attracting enthusiastic participation from outstanding young scholars both locally and internationally. Held annually for the past nine years, the conference has earned an excellent reputation and made a significant impact in the academic community.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the event. In response to the high expectations of the academic community, the Institute will continue its tradition and make further efforts by hosting the 10th International Conference for Young Scholars, themed “Observing the Humanities: New Perspectives on the Study of Classical Chinese Literature,” from August 5 to 8, 2025 (Tuesday to Friday). Over 60 outstanding young scholars from the United States, South Korea, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and other regions will gather at HKBU for in-depth academic exchange. This year’s conference will be larger in scale than ever before.
