HKBU researchers awarded 2024 Young Scientists Fund from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)

We are thrilled to announce that this year five HKBU scholars have garnered the Young Scientists Fund from the NSFC. The awarded scholars are Dr Wang Liyao from the School of Business, Dr Sean Hon, Dr Xie Dongying, Dr Yu Zhan, and Dr Zhang Ruilong from the Faculty of Science


Each recipient of the Young Scientists Fund will receive RMB 300,000 to support their research initiatives for three years. This fund is designed to facilitate young scholars in conducting fundamental research in their disciplines, enhancing their ability and creativity to engage in innovative projects independently and fostering the advancement of the next generation of scientists.


This recognition will undoubtedly elevate the scientific endeavors of these young scholars, paving the way for significant contributions to their respective fields. We extend our warmest congratulations to all the fund awardees!
