HKBU Research on Biological Invasion Featured by the RTHK Ecologist TV Programme

RTHK made an episode of TV programme entitled “Ecologist: Outbreak of Apple Snails” to feature the research of HKBU biologists Prof. Qiu Jianwen and Dr. Ip Chi Ho Jack.

The episode introduced their research on apple snails, including the threats of these invasive species to freshwater wetland plants and animals, and the results they obtained from a field experiment conducted in Hong Kong Wetland Park aiming to remove these species.
