Congratulations to Professor Martin Wong, Provost of HKBU, on being ranked the world’s No.3 researcher in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Hall of Fame.

Professor Wong has secured a top position on the list, which recognises 117 researchers who have published 50 or more papers in premier conferences and journals. The selection reflects Professor Wong’s significant long-term contributions and substantial research impact in EDA.

“EDA has been an active research area since the 1980s, constantly evolving to address new challenges that come with Moore’s Law,” said Professor Wong. “Looking ahead, advances in semiconductor technologies and applications areas such as AI and Quantum will continue to drive innovations in EDA for years to come.”
