Travel Grants:
Maximum HK$45,000 per year for projects involving travel of research postgraduate student(s); Maximum HK$31,250 per year for projects not involving research postgraduate students’ travel

Conference/Workshop Grants:
Maximum HK$150,000 per event to be held in Hong Kong

Research project: HK$3 million (exclusive of on-costs)

Exchange (mobility): HK$0.5 million (exclusive of on-costs)

• Platform: No funding ceiling

• Seed: Up to HK$1.4 million

Internal Grants

• Each eligible academic would be granted HK$200,000
• Newly joined full-time academics from Assistant Professor or above, excluding Assistant/Associate/Professors of Practice

• Funding Allocation to each Faculty/School differs.
• Each student participating in the UGRP will receive a stipend of HK$6,000 - HK$8,000 to be matched by the RC and the respective Faculty/School on a 3:1 ratio for a period of 6 – 8 weeks.
• Any additional expenses have to be covered by the respective Faculty/School.
