Research Mingle – Celebrating the CNY with Calligraphy and Delicacies!
We are pleased to have enjoyed a delightful and culturally immersive afternoon with everyone at our "Research Mingle – Celebrating the CNY" event on February 22, 2024 (Thursday). The event brought together Professor Lyu Aiping, Vice-President (Research and Development), and researchers from diverse disciplines, embracing the Chinese New Year spirit, and fostering interdisciplinary connections and a strong sense of community.
During the event, many participants joined a seasoned calligraphy teacher to admire the art of brush strokes and customised their own creative Chinese “fai chun”. The traditional Chinese delicacies added to the festive ambiance, with the Chinese sweet rice dumplings taking centre stage. Everyone enjoyed immersing in the rich Chinese cultural heritage while networking with fellow researchers.
