Dr. Hung Hin Shiu Development Fund
The University extends its sincere gratitude to the Hung Hin Shiu Charitable Foundation Limited for their generous donation of HK$100 million (around US$12.8 million), which has been pivotal in establishing the "Institute of Creativity – Dr. Hung Hin Shiu Development Fund”. This fund is dedicated to supporting the Institute’s operational needs, furthering research development, and enhancing academic exchange activities. The donation enriches the University's intellectual community through public lecture series delivered by world-class scholars, the renowned Scholars-in-Residence Scheme, and the facilitation of cutting-edge interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research projects.
