HKBU Biologists’ Research on Coral Species Featured by the RTHK Ecologist TV Programme

RTHK has recently featured Miss Yolanda Yeung and Dr. Zhang Yanjie in an episode of the Ecologist TV Programme. Their research, supported by the University Grants Committee and Environment and Conservation Fund grants awarded to Prof. Qiu Jianwen from the Department of Biology, aims to predict the “winners and losers” of coral species in the Greater Bay Area through laboratory determination of their bleaching thresholds.
