HKBU presents awards to recognise outstanding staff

HKBU presented a total of 15 awards of the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance to academic staff and four awards of the Reward and Recognition Scheme for Non-teaching Staff at the award presentation ceremony on 3 May in recognition of their remarkable achievements. Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor, presented the awards and congratulated the winners.

The recipients of the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance are as follows:

President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Early Career Teaching

President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Team Teaching

·         Dr Connie Li, Senior Lecturer, Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems

·         Dr Kwan Ho-yan, Lecturer I, Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems

President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Scholarly Work

·         Professor Song Yunya, Professor, Department of Journalism

·         Dr Ma Guancong, Associate Professor, Department of Physics

·         Professor Jia Wei, Chair Professor in Chinese Medicine and Systems Biology, School of Chinese Medicine (Teaching and Research Division)
