HKBU researchers listed in Global Academic Impact Rankings 2023
20 HKBU researchers are listed in the latest Global Scholar Academic Impact Rankings. Three of these distinguished researchers are ranked in the top 10 in China in their specialised disciplines – Professor Zhang Jianhua from the Faculty of Science ranked 2nd in Crop Science, Professor Christy Cheung from the School of Business ranked 3rd in Library Information and Archives Management and Professor Tong Tiejun from the Faculty of Science ranked 7th in Statistics.
The Global Scholar Academic Impact Rankings 2023 was published by the academic literature query and analysis system named “www.globalauthorid.com”, which provides detailed assessments of the academic impact of global scholars and institutions. As of September 30, 2023, the database has included over 151 million journal/conference papers, with reference and citation relationships totalling more than 1.7 billion.
