HKBU researchers rewarded with General Research Fund (GRF) and Early Career Scheme (ECS) 2024/25

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all HKBU researchers for awarding GRF and ECS from the Research Grants Council (RGC). Our latest performance demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory, with the most awarded projects and the amount awarded over the four years.

The main aim of GRF is to supplement universities’ own research support to researchers who have achieved excellence or have the potential to do so, while ECS intends to nurture junior academics and prepare them for a career in the fields of research and education.

The steady progress in funding is a testament to the dedication of our researchers in their commitment to impactful research, and their ongoing quest for research excellence and innovation.
