Professor Han Zhang receives the 2025 INFORMS Information Systems Society (ISS) Distinguished Fellow Award

Huge congratulations to Professor Han Zhang, Dean of the HKBU School of Business, on being honoured with the 2025 INFORMS Information Systems Society (ISS) Distinguished Fellow Award! 🏆

This is one of the highest accolades in the field of information systems, recognising Prof Zhang's world-leading expertise in online trust, word-of-mouth, and human-AI interaction.

With this award, Professor Zhang has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first scholar of Chinese origin to receive both the INFORMS ISS Distinguished Fellow Award and the Association for Information Systems (AIS) Fellow Award.

Reflecting on this global recognition, Professor Zhang shared: " I am honoured by this recognition and excited to contribute to the vibrant research and innovative culture here at HKBU."
