
HKBU scholars receives funding from RGC’s Collaborative Research Fund 2021/22

Two research projects of the Faculty of Science have received funding over HK$13 million from the Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) 2021/22 of the Research Grants Council (RGC). The CRF supports multi-investigator and multidisciplinary projects in order to encourage more research groups to engage in creative and high-quality cross-disciplinary projects.
The two awarded projects include “User-Controlled Secure Data Sharing and Analytics with Blockchain and Trusted Computing Technologies” led by Prof XU Jianliang, Department of Computer Science; and “Mass spectrometry-based metabolomics for the investigation of biomarkers in Parkinson’s disease” led by Prof CAI Zongwei, Department of Chemistry.
